David and Susan Moore knew in their early twenties that they did not want to have children, and were lucky enough to find a like-minded partner. They met at work in 1992 and married less than twelve months later. Now they wonder how they would ever find time to be parents (even if they wanted to).
David runs his own business (www.ihatemypc.com.au) and is active in the local business community. He used to be the front man of Sydney ska bands Off The Shelf and Dr Raju, loves seeing live music and discovering new ska sounds from around the world. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, plays tennis and does yoga.
Susan is a public relations manager with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, speaks German, a little Italian and is currently studying linguistics. She also goes to yoga, is only slightly obsessive about cats and loves her Bernese Mountain Dog Bärli (pronounced "bear-lee" - that's her name) to bits.
They plan to do some more overseas travel in the future and are now living in the Tasmanian countryside.
